With the arrival of warmer weather, pedicure treatments like our Aloe and Citrus Foot Scrub are sure to receive a boost in popularity. The bright and cheery scents of citrus essential oil are combined with the invigorating ginger in this simple formula. While mineral-rich Dead Sea salt and colourful jojoba wax beads exfoliate rough, dry skin, the combination is great for energising the mind and body.
A colourful jojoba wax beads, unlike plastic-based microbeads, are completely biodegradable, making them an environmentally responsible choice. These gentle exfoliants come in a variety of hues, making them ideal for pairing with scrubs, soaps, and suspending cleansers. Melted jojoba wax beads can be added to balms, body butters, and lotions to impart oil-soluble colour and hardness.
The main wetting element in this scrub was hydrating aloe vera oil. Aloe vera is a popular ingredient in foot care products because of its exceptional conditioning and soothing properties. If you prefer a different carrier oil for your foot scrubs, simply replace the aloe vera with your preferred oil. Avocado oil, coconut oil, sesame oil, or sunflower oil are some more foot-care favourites.
Two 4-ounce jars can be made using this recipe.
Ingredients
• 1/4 cup (60 ml) of Aloe Vera Oil
• 1 cup (240 ml)of Dead Sea Salt, Medium
• 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) of Green Jojoba Wax Beads
• 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) of Yellow Jojoba Wax Beads
• 10 drops of Ginger Essential Oil
• 10 drops of Green Mandarin Essential Oil
• 10 drops of Lemon Tea Tree Essential Oil
Directions
In a small mixing dish, combine all of the ingredients and stir thoroughly.
Use right away or store in a jar.

To use, massage the scrub into your feet to exfoliate them. When finished, rinse and apply moisturiser as needed.
