The Best Recipe For Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients:
• 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
• 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
• 1/2 tsp. baking soda
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 stick butter, softened
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1 egg
• 2 cups Crisped Rice Cereal (Rice Krispies)
• Half-sweet chocolate chips, 1 cup
Instructions:
1. Turn the oven on to 350°F.
2. Mix flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl. Using an electric mixer, beat the butter and sugar in a large bowl until they are light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; mix well. Add the flour mixture and mix just until it comes together. Mix in the chocolate chips and cereal. Put about 2 inches between each tablespoon of cookie dough on cookie sheets lined with parchment paper.
3. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Cool the cookies for 3 minutes on the baking sheet. Place on a cooling rack and let cool all the way.
